Historic District – Go to the center of town and go north. Charming homes and streets that reflect Vermilion’s maritime history are to the west.

Library - Located in the western part of the town, it is a great place when the weather turns bad or you just want to chill, they offer a great selection of books and magazines with comfortable chairs to read in.

Mystic Belle/ Don Parsons - The Mystic Belle is available to transport you from VYC to local restaurants and back along the river when not running scenic river cruises. It is a 28 foot flat bottom barge which resemble a paddle wheel boat. It offers cruises at 2pm and 4pm, with an additional sunset cruise.
